Stuff

Yesterday the kids went to their first hockey game!! We went with Joy, Joe and Ethan. The game was in Raleigh the Hurricanes...they won the Stanley Cup (I think that's what it's called) last year. It's pro hockey. We went to the Soria's house for lunch and fun then stopped at Mcd's on the way to Raleigh. Everyone seemed to have fun...unfortunately I forgot my camera!! ugh! We got home late last night to be home for church today. Today was probably Matt's last Sunday at the chapel we have been at. This brings me to ask you all for prayer for us of course, but also for all the families here. Since 2007 began we have had thousands leave. We had a bunch leave in Dec as well and then more leaving soon as you know. I am surrounded by families without Daddies (mainly, but of course mommies as well) God continues to remind me Matt is in His hands no matter what occurs! If you want to know what to pray for...strength, peace, joy are the main three. I hear so many stories and it comes down to these three. You get tired, fearful, depressed...we have awesome support in each other here, we truly do, but the more prayer the better. It is going to be a different season as well because sooo many are gone it makes it a little harder for everyone. We have a lot of prayer groups and Bible studies so pray that this will be a great time of leading women to Christ and for those who already know Jesus a strengthening time. It is an awesome opportunity here and for Matt. This opportunity is only for the time of separation....so there are blessings in the midst of it all. Financial blessings too :)
